Technical Sales Engineer
We are currently seeking a professional Technical Sales Engineer to assist with the evaluation of our customer’s technical requirements.
This position requires a high degree of technical and sales knowledge. Reporting to the executive directors your responsibility will be to:
- Seek out and generate new business opportunities in the rail and transportation sector
- Maintain and develop existing accounts
- Build relationships with our customers
- Assist sales team with technical and detailed pricing proposals
- Assist sales team with customer meetings and customer engagements
- Prepare and execute sales/technical workshops on the company’s products and solutions
- Assist with the company’s marketing activities, including, but not limited to: application notes, technical blogs, video related training and support material
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and skills in the following areas:
- Electrical/Electronic/Embedded computer engineering background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- To be a solutions architect based on a sound understanding of the customer’s requirements
- Able to engage effectively with customers and others in the team
- Show a genuine interest for emerging and innovative technology
- Be able to clearly prepare and present technically and commercially viable solutions to the potential customer
- Able to work well with senior levels of management

Production Assistant
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Assistant to join our busy production team.
You will report to the Production Manager and perform the following duties:
- Procurement planning and purchasing
- Raising production orders
- Following up with suppliers to ensure parts/goods are delivered on time
- Manage inbound and outbound freight
- Assisting the team to achieve production goals and meet delivery date commitments
- Contribute as a part of the production team
- Other duties as required
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate following experience and skills:
- Organisational skills
- Production management skills
- Understand production principles
- Vendor management skills
- Finance and accounting skills
- Practical skills
- Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel
The following skills and experience are an advantage:
- Experience in LEAN and World Class Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint Online and SAP Business One software
