Whether as stand-alone units or in CompactPCI format, MEN's industrial Ethernet switches are an easily customizable low-power platform for harsh environments.
The rugged Ethernet switches were specifically designed for mobile communication systems. Their industrial, modular concept makes the units a perfect choice for highly demanding applications, e.g. for redundancy systems.
All stand-alone modules are fully compliant with the EN50155 railway standard. They are equipped with wide-range power supplies and can act as power-sourcing equipment for other devices supporting Power over Ethernet. The units are designed for operating temperatures from -40 to 70(up to +85 for 10 minutes) and need no cooling(fanless opertion). The PCBs are ready for coatingand there areno coketed components, hardening the product against shock and vibration.
