Cool LiteRunner 2
The Cool LiteRunner 2 is the enhanced successor of Cool LiteRunner, a complete PC/104 single board computer with two Ethernet ports. In addition to the features of its predecessor, it offers full AC97 sound capability as well as 256 MB RAM size. USB 2.0 support and full 16 bit ISA bus capability are the other highlights of this versatile single board computer.
The Cool LiteRunner 2 is powered by an AMD Geode™ GX 466@0.9W Pentium compatible processor running at 333 MHz. This processor is combined with the CS5535 I/O companion chip, which integrates many standard peripherals. Together with a Super I/O, the Cool LiteRunner 2 forms a complete PC. It can be expanded using miniPCI cards or PC/104 modules. slot. Two independent Fast Ethernet controllers are provided for networking, making the Cool LiteRunner 2 the selection of choice for managed bridges and industrial automation.
The Cool LiteRunner 2 features an integrated graphics controller that shares its graphics memory with the sytem memory (UMA) . It supports either VGA monitors or digital TFT displays (18 bit parallel or 24 bit LVDS), selectable via jumper or BIOS settings.
In addition to the above mentioned features, the Cool LiteRunner 2 offers even more: There are three serial ports are integrated on-board; IDE, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and parallel printer are also standard.
An integrated GoldCap buffers the real time clock. Eight freely usable I/O pins for application defined signals are available on a flat cable connector.
The Cool LiteRunner 2 handles ATA-66 compliant EIDE devices like hard disks, or CD/DVD drives, etc. A built-in CompactFlash adapter facilitates the construction of devices without moving parts.
