Cool RoadRunner 4 CPU's
The Cool RoadRunner 4 is built according to the PCI-104 specification, which succeeds the PC/104 standard while omitting the historic ISA bus.
The Cool RoadRunner 4 features the 82855GME chipset, which offers a high performance 3 D graphics controller that can handle two independent displays using Intel Extreme Graphics 2. The integrated display controller comes with up to 32 Mbytes improved UMA VRAM and supports up to 1600x1200 pixel at 85 Hz. A VGA port is build-in as well as dual channel LVDS interfaces with 24 bit each for interference-free connection of LCD displays.
The Cool RoadRunner 4 comes with PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and Ultra ATA 100 EIDE interface on-board. Networking capabilities are provided by an 1000 Base T Gigabit Ethernet connection. Six independent USB 2.0 ports and AC97 Sound I/O are also integrated. The system memory is expandable up to 1024 MB DDR333 SDRAM in the single on-board SO-DIMM socket.
The Cool RoadRunner 4 is also available with a Celeron M 373 ULV processor. It features extended temperature range from -40°C up to +85°C while using only a passive heatsink. Hence, it is perfectly suited for fanless mobile or home entertainment computer systems. | |
