CoreExpress - A310
Lippert Embedded Computers enters the RISC world wiht the CoreExpress A310.
Like the previous CoreExpress modules, it measures only 58mm x 65mm, but undercust those regarding power consumption: only 3 Watt are required.
Built around a Marvell Armada 310 System-On-A-Chip, this tiny CoreExpress module shows the flexibility of the CoreExpress concept. Its CPU kernel is compatible with the ARMv5TE technology and features 256KB Level 2 Cache. The CoreExpress-A3100 is available with 256 or 512 MB soldered DDR3 RAM. Operating system is Linux, with all required drivers being available.
The module is powered with a 5V supply voltage. All other requried voltages are generated from this input, using on-board voltage regulators. to round out its hardware capabilities, it employs a microcontrolelr that takes care of the corret starting sequence of the different voltage sources, and also handles the LEMT functionality.
The CoreExpress-A310 is also available in extended temperature range from -40ºC to 85ºC |
