Thunderbird-GM45
The next generation Thunderbird-GM45 is built around the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo.
The Mini-ITX board utilizes the GM45 chipset, which comes with an integrated graphics controller and uses DVI-I and LVDS for the display connection.
The interfaces comprise SATA adapters, Gigabit LAN, and USB 2.0 host ports. Up to 4 GB DDR-RAM are suported.
In addition to the usual standard inferfaces, the Thunderbird-GM45 comes with an Adaptive-IO™ connector, which allows to beef up the basic Mini-ITX board with application specific I/O.
Using an Adaptive-IO™ board instead of a garden-variety PCI card guarantees mechanically robust systems. The sturdy connector and the possibility to fix the I/O card with screws to the Mini-ITX board, create solid assemblies. LEMT functionality is available.
