The
Drop-in Networking Starter-Kit provides the hardware and software
tools to add low-cost wireless communication functionality to new
and existing products. It also demonstrates how that functionality
might be used to deliver innovative new services to customers.
- ConnectPort X8 Gateway: Collects data traffic from ZigBee-enabled devices
and transports that traffic to a central software application
or database over its Ethernet connection. The ConnectPort X8 is
also available with ZigBee-to-cellular or ZigBee-to-Wi-Fi connectivity.
- XBee
RS-232 Adapter: Provides wireless ZigBee connectivity to any
RS-232 serial device.
- XBee Sensor Adapter: Provides wireless ZigBee connectivity to any
other Watchport sensor such as the Watchport/T temperature sensor.
- XBee Modules and Development Boards: Provide embeddable ZigBee
capability for integration into original product designs (e.g.,
sensors, meters, pumps, controllers).
- Watchport/T
Temperature Sensor: Plug-and-play sensor connects to the XBee
Sensor adapter for remote temperature monitoring.
